Hello everyone,
I’m very excited that so many of you have taken an interest in walking in this year’s March Of Dimes walk; this is definitely a better outcome than we expected. We will be having a meeting on Thursday after school to answer any unanswered questions and to collect your March Of Dimes cut-outs and your $10s. Just to repeat what was said at the meeting: The walk will be held on Sunday the 29th in Piscataway’s Johnson Park. We will all rendezvous at the GNC parking lot around 8:00 am and leave promptly at 8:15. The drive to the park will take around 20 mins. We will all meet at the Rutgers Stadium Parking Lot. (You will be informed on a more detailed meeting place in the following days, so we do not get separated) Upon arriving at the Parking lot, breakfast will be served to all participants! The walk itself isn’t too bad, considering there are pit stops every mile with water and bathrooms. At the end of the walk, we will all meet at the finish spot, where there will be free food and activities. We expect to be back at the GNC by 1-2 in the afternoon. Again, since this is an out of school event, no transportation will be provided, so you MUST find your own ride to and from the event! If you could please email John Capangpangan who your ride is to the event, that would be appriciated, so he knows who is riding with whom, and who is available to be carpooled.
